For the YMCA, he has raised and managed over $11 million in federal, state, and foundation funds. He currently works at UMMA Community Clinic as the Chief Advancement Officer. The Chief Advancement Officer is in charge of creating, leading, and implementing an integrated and sustainable growth strategy, as well as developing and implementing organization-wide fundraising approaches to meet community needs and initiating initiatives that include health services while increasing the institution's presence and influence.

Jimmy Ozaeta is a native of South East Los Angeles. Mr. Ozaeta holds a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Scientific and Social Perspectives with an emphasis in Assessment, and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Human Movements from San Francisco State University. Mr. Ozaeta has served in the non-profit sector for over 20 years in several senior executive roles.
