পরীক্ষা শুরুর ১৫ মিনিট পর দরজায় মেহেদীকে দেখে স্যার বললেন, ১০ মিনিটের পর এলে কাউকে হলে ঢুকতে দেওয়া যাবে না। অনেক কাকুতি-মিনতির পর সে শেষ চেষ্টা হিসেবে বলল, ‘বাসা থেকে বেরোতে গিয়ে সিঁড়িতে আছাড় খেয়ে গড়াতে গড়াতে নিচে পড়ে গিয়েছিলাম স্যার।’ কৈফিয়ত শুনে স্যার আরও রেগে গিয়ে বললেন, ‘দোতলার সিঁড়ি থেকে গড়িয়ে নিচে নামতে তোমার ১৫ মিনিট লাগল? বাজে বকার জায়গা পাও না?
