Sailing has been part of the layouts also. I think I was working into my recent variant of this but I wanted to focus on the core of the ability first. Sea exploration could always arrive and the trouble is that it may appear to similar to Dungeoneering, therefore making RS gold a Dungeoneering/Sailing hybrid in the beginning may not assist its reception. However, I believe one ability that focuses around researching areas and unlocking new regions can solve a lot of problems that those abilities had invidiually. What do you mean by"I was working into my latest variant of this"? It does seem that we just want the notion even if identification prefer the skill to be a little more wet. Exploration would be amazing.
What I know is artisan or warding can get any support other gamers just wanting a skill they'd take anything. I already dont like slayer since I hate being told what material I need to do, how do exactly the same thing be fun except with skilling (artisan) and warding only seemed boring from the beginning but im going off on a tangent. Do you think sailing itself has or had a reception? When it was polled if I remember it got like 69-70 % and that was with a butchered blog. When it got time got I think it might have gone. I thought dungeoneering was received well besides the argument that was skill/minigame. It was a peice of articles.
I meant I was working Sailing in my pitch of Exploration. Another week/month, I wrote a brand new version of my draw on the ability focusing on the dungeons and exploration aspect and excluding Sailing; then afterwards had a change of mind and decided to flesh out the Sailing portion to. I forget how much I really did that however. As Sailing on its own, it was a mixed reception for. I think the challenge is that it spent as long as a rumor and joke which players love the thought and have been on board for years or they just don't get it. Like I still see comments along the lines of"we have boats to take us places so why do we need Sailing", that is a massive difference in how players view the ability.
I really do think Sailing could work as a standalone ability if it had been revisited because its first survey didn't have that much time compared to others, but I think it would be more effective if it had been part of something bigger like Exploration than simply focusing on the sea. Exploration may fall in the exact same thing, however by taking those 2 abilities and making them a part of RuneScape gold buy a bigger skill, it's more difficult to utilize the minigame argument.
