- Ordinary V-belts have only Y, Z, A, B, C, D, E and other types. V-belts are usually endless belts. To facilitate installation, the shaft spacing and preload should be adjusted. For a drive without a tensioner, the bearing position of one of the shafts should be able to move along the length of the belt.
- When multiple V-belts are driven, in order to avoid uneven load distribution of each V-belt, the length of the V-belt on the same pulley should be matched. All replacements must be replaced at the same time.
