News doing round on Michigan Wolverines basketball big win over Ohio State was nothing short of fantastic and undoubtedly the top four teams in the country. On Sunday, the team was ready for action as they thrashed No. 4 Ohio State 92-87.

The win over Ohio State proved to be the best game of the year in college basketball. And even though the vaunted defense was quite good, the offense was an excellent day. You’d have mistaken it for a rivalry game.

And oh boy, the head coach Juwan Howard couldn’t be prouder; of course, he expected nothing but the best from the team. Looking forward, the Wolverines have a great potential to make a run to the final weekend.

Wolverines Big Win Over Buckeyes

Juwan Howard had his team ready for a fight, and they delivered a high-level and quite competitive game on Sunday. The head coach has put his team on the highest level in just his second season. Impressive. But, don’t get us wrong. Ohio State is not just another team, it’s a No.4 for a reason, and their defense was good, only not good enough. The two power teams made contested shots, and there was a possibility that No.4 Ohio State would have won. But not this time, and certainly not against the No. 3 Michigan Wolverines basketball team.

Their 92-87 victory in Columbus was one of the greatest matches in college basketball. And a week before this game, Michigan stayed focused on offense and trounced Wisconsin. It was a great good one for Michigan and the big ten hoops. The two best teams put a show for over two hours, with Michigan holding on for a 92-87 win. What a brutal intro for Ohio State? But then again, the Sunday game established both Michigan and Ohio State as realistic contestants for the national championship.

No.3 Wolverines Versus No. 9 Iowa Thursday Night Game

Thursday matchup will see two friends face off each other. Hunter Dickinson (nation’s best freshman) and Luka Garza (presumed national player of the year) will set against each other. They both trained with the Team Takeover AAU based in Washington DC and have known each other for six years.

Dickinson admits he’s far from being an expert on Garza and fully aware that a matchup with Luka won’t be easy. However, on Thursday, it’s more on which team will turn out victorious. Michigan Wolverines basketball team dominates in the Big Ten with an opportunity to win the regular-season title. In any case, the match will not be Garza against Dickinson but Wolverines against Hawkeyes. All the same, it’s interesting to follow this matchup where the nation’s fast-rising and nation’s best center player will go head-on. Will the two put friendship aside for forty minutes?

In Conclusion, it’s safe to say that the Michigan Wolverines basketball team strives to reposition itself to achieving the Big Ten Title, comes Thursday. After trouncing the Buckeyes on Sunday in Columbus, they’ll host Iowa for the second matchup against a top ten opponent. Remember, both teams are trying to build their resumes.
